𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 wrapped in Scottsdale at the end of January—and here are some of my 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀. 𝗪𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻: turning 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 that sharpens bids, boosts productivity, and protects margins—without adding hassle. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 came from producers, contractors, and tech peers on 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 that

𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗖𝗙𝗢 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 who said: “Our forecast is always right—until it’s not.”That hit me. Most cash forecasts are built on 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁-𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 or “most likely” scenarios. But what happens when reality doesn’t cooperate? The smartest finance leaders I know don’t just forecast cash—they 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. “What if revenue slips 20%?”
